Product Overview
This sumptuous featherbed is crafted in two layers—supportive goose feathers topped with lofty white duck down—for the ultimate in softness and comfort. Sewn of smooth cotton twill, the bottom layer is filled with Hungarian white goose feathers for maximum support. It’s topped with a second layer of opulent Hungarian white duck down for heavenly softness that cushions pressure points and relaxes the muscles. The top layer is wrapped in a buttery-soft cotton sateen shell engineered with 10” baffle-box stitching for maximum loft.

Baffled Box Construction - A baffle is an internal wall of fabric that separates the top and bottom layers of fabric in a comforter, featherbed, or pillow. A baffle provides better loft and distribution of fill than standard constructions.
Cotton - The most well-known and widely used of all the natural fibers, cotton is valued for its softness, breathability, and absorbency. At The Company Store we use only combed cotton, the highest quality available.
Down - Warm and comfortable, lightweight and breathable, down is Mother Nature’s most efficient insulator. Down clusters contain only soft, fluffy filaments, providing a filling that maintains an even body temperature to fit all seasons and climates. The Company Store's down is hypoallergenic, and our supplier is RDS Certified, ensuring the down is ethically sourced.
Featherbed - A luxury item enjoyed by Europeans for centuries, the featherbed springs back to shape with every turn, easing pressuer on joints and cradling you in soothing comfort. Filled with either down, feathers, or a down-feather blend, there’s a perfect combination of firmness and warmth for every type of sleeper!
Fill Power - Fill power measures the amount of air an ounce of down can trap, thus its insulating ability. Higher fill power indicates more warmth for the same weight. The Company Store offers comforters with 500 to 750 fill power in a variety of warmth weights to provide the perfect amount of insulation for a great night's sleep.
Sateen - Sateen is a cotton fabric prized for its soft, silky touch and subtle sheen. Made with a weave that leaves more yarn exposed on the face of the fabric, the resulting finish is softer, silkier, and more lustrous than other fabrics.
Thread Count - Thread count is the number of horizontal and vertical threads per square inch of fabric. The higher the thread count, the tighter the weave of a sheet. However, thread count alone is not an indicator of quality—the quality of the material is more important.
